Harr Miniature Pinschers

Welcome to the home of Miniature Pinschers of Sound Body, Mind and Spirit.

 -Show Contract-

Whereby it is agreed as follows:

That the Breeder will sell and the Purchaser(s) will buy the Puppy detailed below.  The Puppy is in good health, has been inoculated for dogs age, dewormed, microchip implanted and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club pending.  Puppy dewclaws will have been removed, the tail will have been docked. We crop all show/breeding dogs unless specified by the Purchaser not to crop. The appropriate payment for the ear crop must be sent to the Breeder in advance of the crop being done. The ear crop payment is not part of the deposit on the puppy.

The Breeder will provide the appropriate CKC registration papers according to this Agreement. The Breeder reserve the right to prefix the kennel names "HARR" and supply a registry name for the dog.

That the Purchaser(s) agrees to and understand(s) the following conditions:

Validation of the guarantee requires examination of your puppy by the vet of your choice and at the purchaser’s expense within 72 hours (3 days) of the delivery date. This veterinary examination is mandatory to confirm that your puppy was not sick or injured at the time of delivery.

The breeder guarantees the puppy until 2 year of age against all congenital or hereditary defects; however, we stand behind our dogs for the life of the dog.

If puppy has congenital or hereditary defects, it will be replaced with first available puppy of the same value from the breeder’s stock, as soon as possible.  The original puppy must be returned before a new puppy can be delivered with the puppies registration signed over to the breeder. No one may keep the original puppy, it must be returned.

The guarantee against transmissible diseases such as parvovirus for example, is valid for a period of 7 days starting on the day of delivery, since the normal incubation period for transmissible diseases is 5 to 7 days.  For example, if first signs of parvovirus were to show on a puppy 12 or 15 days from delivery, the puppy could not have carried that disease from the breeder's premises and incubate it for that long before showing signs of the disease.

  • The puppy shall not be sold, leased or given to any pet shop or research establishment.

  • The puppy shall not be taken from the Purchaser's country of residence, permanently, without the Breeder's prior consent.

  • The puppy shall not be sold, given or donated to any person without the Breeder's prior knowledge and consent.

  • In the event of the Purchaser(s) being unable to maintain the puppy, the Breeder shall be informed and shall reserve the right to repossess the puppy at any age.

  • In the event that the Purchaser wishes to sell the said puppy then the puppy must be sold back to the Breeder and only for the Breeder for a price that the Breeder stipulates. The price being no more than the original purchased price but may be less at Breeder’s discretion.

  • The breeder is NOT responsible for any veterinarian bills the purchaser may incur regarding said puppy.

  • The breeder is NOT responsible for any shipping fees and crates needed to deliver puppy safely to new home.

  • The Breeder is not responsible for any costs rendered in showing said puppy to its conformation championship or any other titles said puppy might acquire.

When purchasing a show quality puppy, full papers will be given.  A show puppy is guaranteed to be within the size of the breed standard, which is 10" - 12.5".  In the event that the said puppy should exceed or not mature to the size standard, the puppy will be replaced.  Also, if the said puppy has any disqualifying faults (see breed standard), the said puppy will be replaced.

The purchaser agrees to show the puppy and complete his/her championship before breeding said dog. If dog is bred without championship stipulation being fulfilled the purchaser will forfeit said dog immediately to the breeder.  The purchaser will then have no rights to said dog.

The Purchaser(s) further warrant that the Show puppy:

  • Will be kept in appropriate conditions for its health and welfare and will be fed a suitable diet for its age and condition.

  • Will receive regular booster vaccinations from a veterinary surgeon.

  • Will receive all necessary veterinary care to maintain its good health.

The Purchaser(s) further understand(s) that if there is a failure to keep any part of this contract, or if the puppy is neglected, maltreated, or is failing to receive adequate medical care, the Purchaser will surrender said puppy to the Breeder, unconditionally and without financial restitution or compensation.

The Transfer of Ownership document and delivery of puppy will be supplied upon receipt of a signed copy of this document and the relevant payment.

This contract contains the entire agreement between the parties and no statement, promises or inducements made by either party that is not contained in this written contract shall be valid or binding.  This contract may not be modified or altered except in writing signed by both parties and endorsed herein.

It is the intention of this contract to promote, advance and perpetuate the integrity of the Miniature Pinscher breed and to protect the interest of both the breeder and the purchaser.

Purchaser agrees that this contract is legal and binding. Any disputes that cannot be settled between the Breeder and Purchaser will be settled in the courts of the Province of British Columbia.
